About

Head Not The Tail Productions · HNTT Productions

Founded in 2016, Head Not The Tail Productions (HNTT) is an independent film and television production company dedicated to developing stories that inspire conversation around leadership, equity, professional development, and social justice. The company creates original films, documentaries, events, and educational programming designed to amplify underrepresented voices and spark meaningful dialogue. Its documentary Invisible Women: Being a Black Woman in Corporate America was officially selected for the Hollywood Black Film Festival, helping establish HNTT as a purpose-driven storyteller in the independent film space.

The Brief

Initially partnered with HNTT Productions through PR2Politics, collaborating with the public relations team to strengthen the company's digital marketing efforts. As the engagement expanded, I assumed responsibility for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, managing social media, supporting event promotion, and growing audience engagement across the organization's film, documentary, and community initiatives.

The Work

  • Led social media strategy and content execution across multiple platforms to strengthen brand visibility and audience engagement
  • Created marketing collateral, branded content, and campaign assets aligned with the organization's mission and storytelling
  • Coordinated webinars, workshops, and virtual events while leveraging email marketing, strategic partnerships, and digital channels to drive participation
  • Produced campaign reporting and performance insights while continuously optimizing marketing strategies to improve audience growth and engagement

In Their Words

We were looking for someone who could build, establish, and grow our social media presence. We learned our PR partner had worked with her firm for social media; we were thoroughly impressed. Our needs were listened to, and easy to work with through strategy outlines, recommendations, and reporting to ensure we achieve our Social Media goals. Working with Estefany was the most cost-effective way of doing this – and the results have certainly not disappointed. We've seen a 141% increase in brand awareness and engagement within months of starting work together. I'd recommend her to any business owner spending countless hours trying to build awareness and thinking of investing in a social media presence.

Field Notes

This engagement reinforced that the best entertainment marketing doesn't simply promote content—it extends the story. Every campaign became an opportunity to connect films, events, partnerships, and community conversations into a unified audience experience.
